AEW All Out featured an injury, a continued streak, and the crowning of an interim AEW Women’s World Champion.

To kick off the Zero Hour pre-show, Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara were victorious over Ruby Soho and Ortiz in a rubber match. The finish saw Melo pin Soho, but it wasn’t without a mishap. Soho was seen holding her face with blood pouring out following the bout. PWInsider reports that she unfortunately suffered a broken nose.

In the third match of the main card, Jade Cargill defended her TBS Championship against Athena. Athena came out looking like a war goddess, while Jade dawned a complete She-Hulk look. With nearly four-and-a-half minutes to utilize, Athena and Jade kept things fast-paced with a number of power moves.

Athena nailed Cargill with O-Face early on, but Kiera Hogan and Leila Grey pulled Athena out during the nearfall. Athena dropkicked Grey into the barricade, while Hogan retreated in fear. The battle continued on briefly before Cargill won with Jaded to extend her streak to 37-0.

In the eleventh bout of the night overall, the four-way went down to crown the interim AEW Women’s World Champion. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter kept their distance in the first half until Hikaru Shida was removed from the bout for a brief injury angle.

They double teamed Toni Storm before Shida returned, wielding two kendo sticks for revenge. Eventually, Hayter nearly had the win over Shida, but Baker pulled the referee out during the cover. Hayter was hit with Storm Zero before Storm was tossed by Baker. Baker then pinned Hayter for a nearfall.

Toni Storm returned to the ring and finished the match off by pinning Hayter to become the interim AEW Women’s World Champion after nearly 15 minutes of competition.
