Chelsea have identified Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo as their priority target for the summer.

The Blues are expected to sign a marquee midfielder in the next transfer window and they are looking at several names.

Alexis Mac Allister was initially linked with a move but the Argentine has agreed terms with Liverpool over a transfer.

Hence, they may need to focus elsewhere and Simon Phillips claims that Caicedo is now the priority option for Chelsea.

Declan Rice is also on the club’s radar but a transfer is unlikely with the midfielder keen on playing Champions League football.

Caicedo has now emerged as the main target for the Blues and it is claimed that Mauricio Pochettino has given the green light.

The Argentine will take charge of Chelsea in the summer and he has already started the process of selecting his transfer targets.

Apart from Caicedo, he has his sights on landing Victor Osimhen from Napoli but a deal is difficult without Champions League football.
