Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak engaged Eddies Football Club in a friendly match on Tuesday.

At the end of the exercise, the Phobians brushed aside the lower-tier side with a thumping 5-0 victory.

In the game played at the Pobiman Sports Complex, Hearts of Oak scored first through Raphael Frimpong to take the lead.

Later in the game, a brace from striker Kojo Obeng Jnr and goals from Isaac Frimpong and Hamza Issah sealed the big win for Hearts of Oak.

Today’s friendly is part of the preparations Hearts of Oak are making for the second game in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

After the opening day defeat to RTU over the weekend, the Phobians are keen on beating Nsoatreman FC next weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.

That game will be played on Sunday, September 24.
